Tonight: classic rawk

Wed Aug 26, 2009, 7:01 PM
Last night: downloaded a number of how-to artists' videos (mainly concentrating on quick sketching and speedpainting) from the Massive Black site. I'll watch and do 'em Sunday. :)

Today: bus sketches of night elves and trolls in dramatic shadow, turned out well, inspired by a Pitt "B" brush pen.
In the mentals, working on my yaoi (which I couldn't really sketch on the bus)

This evening: coffee, classic rawk (Scorpions) :) and dawdling before I get back to my painting. It is a draenei male and human DK female in a cozy place, luridly colored like a pulp novel. Started in gouache, way too flat and blah, I'm too timid! Need to get a lot chunkier. So, I switched to acrylic. Enough stalling, time for cheezy radio and some texture to my painting!

  • Mood: Optimism
  • Listening to: Scorpions ACDC Queensryche
  • Watching: my home-made WoW pr0n
  • Playing: artiste
  • Drinking: coffee

Hey! Good to see you're still around! Thanks for stopping by! I'm back in Chicago, and back at Goods: small world, eh? :)

As soon as Duke Orsea realized he'd lost the battle, the war and his country's only hope for survival he ordered a general retreat. It was the only sensible thing he'd done all day.

I love the witches in Pratchett's books: simply the coolest, toughest, smartest as any series. :D
